The Princess and the Cheese is a wonderful story of fantasy, friendship, and love.  It is the story of a young woman named Poppy who lives in the woodland village of Meadow Vale.  Poppy is a very talented cheese maker who delights in producing healthy and interesting cheeses for all who live in her village.  She also is very special because she can communicate with the animals that assist her in making her cheeses.  Poppy has a very full life running her own cheese shop, La Fromagerie, and enjoys spending time with her best friend, Gavin the squirrel.
